Paul's Stolen Pics

Hi,

So many people gave me pictures or stored them on my laptop, so I'm just going to post my favourites whether I took them or not. I'll start with pictures around wedding time. One picture is of Mark's 'Polterabend' or stag night, where, in order to drink, you have to sell things to people in public. They dressed Mark up as a 'Mountie.' Here Mark is trying to sell Canadian flags to the Swiss Army. (Very risky....remember they have knives). On the same night is a pic of his brothers and new brother in law (Alain) in a Swiss Pub. My favourite pic is from a skit on his wedding night, when a bunch of people dressed as nuns came out parading Mark's pic on a pole. It was from Sister Act, 'I will follow Him.....He is my Destiny'. They were making fun of Sandra's devotion to Mark. There were two weddings....on friday night there was the Civil or legal wedding, and then on Saturday the church wedding. Observe Paul, Pat and David listening to Dave's new Ipod after the Civil wedding. Also some funny Swiss signs like 'Extrafahrt'

More to come.

Paul

Is David that boring that Paul and Pat have listen to an ipod for entertainment or did the ipod make Pat and Paul more interesting for David?

Unfortunately David needed the Ipod to tolerate spending time with us. Actually, the real truth is that isn't an ipod; we were playing with Granddaddy's old hearing aid. (The scary part is I actually have that Walkman-type hearing aid of his)

Bochsler Family Update

Last week I tried to "encourage" my family to post to this blog. I sent them all TERRIBLE pictures of themselves and threatened to post them here if they didn't post their own. Although they all responded soon enough to my threat, nobody has updated this blog yet. To be fair, this sort of thing is easier for me to do so I'll give a general update on the family. I won't post those nasty pictures just yet, because I'm sure there are some of me floating around and I don't want to start a war. You may remember there are 6 kids, in order of age: Mark, Colleen, Paul, David, Kathleen & Kevin. Hearing it listed like that reminds me of being called for dinner. :) Mom and Dad (Maureen and Al) are both in good health and living in that big house you remember in Ancaster. The house and property itself would look very different to many of you as my Dad's projects have really transformed the place. There are no more big willow trees (and no more treehouse!) :( ...
