Yes indeed Robin - that is a ring. But not just any ring. It's an engagment ring. And so the story goes, when Pat proposed to Amanda a few short weeks ago - just days before Christmas. Except Batman and Robin weren't really there. But we did have wine. And Amanda did say yes (Phew). So please welcome Amanda to our family - much like you welcomed me on that fine day in July so many years ago when I was plucked from my mother's loins so that one day our family could have its own blog. Thanks!

Hi family, Today is our family blog's third birthday. That's right - it's officially 3 years and 512 posts old... How crazy is that? I remember back in the old days when the blog first started and I'd have to walk uphill (both ways) in 15 feet of snow just to post on here. How times have changed... Thanks for coming.

Hello Everyone, It's been a while since I've posted but I have enjoyed all of the updates that are coming through from all of you. It makes me feel not so far away. This is David, Aunt Maureen's son. We have a new baby, Liam, who was born July 25th (the same birthday as my siblings Kathleen and Kevin). Noah is 5 1/2 and Ella just turned 4. We had a great time this holiday season with my brother Mark and his wife Sandra who came to visit us. We also had Peter Beninger and his family over. These photos are courtesy of my bro Mark, who has a gift for picture taking. Carol's (my wife) parents are here visiting now so it's been a great family month. Enjoy the pictures!

After 11 days in the hospital we are very happy that "big Ed" is home. No one is happier than our mother.
