Happy New Year from Singapore!

Hello Everyone,
It's been a while since I've posted but I have enjoyed all of the updates that are coming through from all of you. It makes me feel not so far away.

This is David, Aunt Maureen's son. We have a new baby, Liam, who was born July 25th (the same birthday as my siblings Kathleen and Kevin). Noah is 5 1/2 and Ella just turned 4. We had a great time this holiday season with my brother Mark and his wife Sandra who came to visit us. We also had Peter Beninger and his family over. These photos are courtesy of my bro Mark, who has a gift for picture taking. Carol's (my wife) parents are here visiting now so it's been a great family month.

Congratulations on the birth of Liam. Your children are really beautiful but it helps having such good looking parents. Nice hearing from you again. Any chance you'll be coming to Canada any time in the near future? Would love to see you all.

We will be in Canada this coming July. I hope that we get to see everyone. Perhaps the timing will work for a reunion.

And thanks for the compliments by the way! I knew there was a reason I missed family!!

Those are great shots guy. Congrats and keep them coming. The kids miss you guys and had the greatest time with your family on new Years. I don't think Zack is allowed to return when Paul is there but our others needed to see them again... You've got a great family there....

We look forward to seeing you in July. The Simmonds family retired from the family reunion business two years ago after 20 years of service. I would take it over (easy to say) but I live in a condo townhouse so I have no room. If anyone is considering this, now is the time to really look into the possibilties. I am sure Mary and Mark would give you lots of advice. The last reunion was the largest so far and I'm guessing about 150 in attendance. It was great with many from out of country and out of province!

Last week I tried to "encourage" my family to post to this blog. I sent them all TERRIBLE pictures of themselves and threatened to post them here if they didn't post their own. Although they all responded soon enough to my threat, nobody has updated this blog yet. To be fair, this sort of thing is easier for me to do so I'll give a general update on the family.
