John's obituary appeared in The Hamilton Spectator this morning. John was suitably described - the opposites so true. Thanks for the collaborative effort of Kevin, Fred, Rob (I assume) and even possibly John himself. Kevin makes a good point, however Chace was there - make no mistake about it - this kid gets around. We had to pick him up at the airport on Friday. He flew first class with his stroller, luggage and elmo diapers. He took quite a shine to Mark! Just a few pictures from the party this past Saturday...

Rob and Kevin and I joined John's pals for a beer at John's usual haunt on Tuesday, the day that John passed away. Everyone has been contributing ideas on what to do and say and there have been lots of offers of help from all. We hope the obit captured a bit of who John was - we could have filled the whole paper with the things we have to say about John, but hope that snippet will do until we all have a chance to elaborate at the "services" here and there and also on this blog. I will also post the longer version of the obit. All the best to you, Mike and the family.
