Happy birthday cousin buddy! We still have a picture in a photo album of Colleen's ninth birthday and your fourteenth where there was an 'R' on the one side of the cake and a 'C' on the other and they were done in raisins. And of course there were a lot more candles on your side of the cake then hers, as there still would be. Maybe by next year I'll scan it.

Lemme see....you were born in 1964 so that makes you 44 ! Well I'll be.

Now be carefull i hear that when people turn 44 their hair starts to turn grey and in some strange circumstances men start to loose digits, usually starting with thumbs!!

Having really young kids doesn't give you time to feel old.
Apparently I have forgotten Dave's and Colleen's birthday (happy belated you puppies).As Dad pointed out to me this morning, it was Aunt Millies Bday yesterday. She is not a puppy. Happy Belated Aunt Millie.

Technically, my dear brother Bob Chuck Jim Tony Dean was born at 8:08 in the morning. And around our house Dad loved to wait until your official birth time before even faintly recognizing your big day.
The downside for Rob is that he was born in Ontario, and 8:08 a.m. Eastern Standard time is damn near the middle of the night in B.C. But still - dad likes to be on time with his birthday wishes. So i'm sure there's been more than a few times Rob has started his birthday extra early with a cheery call from dear old dad in Ontario.
Incidentally, for those of you with a digital clock nearby, you'll notice that 8:08 spells BOB... Spooky huh?

Poor Robby Dean! Its not like he ever picked on anyone else to deserves such treatment. You are not old, my young cousin, you are just greyer than I am. Happy Birthday.
Also, happy birthday to anyone else I have missed. I am good at missing birthdays, just ask my siblings. I'm old you know. They will tell you.

Thank you Kathy and LorrettO. The five dollars and a bottle of dye are in the mail.
Danny and Paul, I had some wonderful expletives planned but they typed out fovljrsf and djoyjrsf and that would have looked odd.
Pat, yes. Kathy did it once too and it wasn't my birthday and she felt bad and never did it again.
Thank you one and all I'm all a flutter. Same bat time, same bat channel next year.

Happy belated Birthday Rob(although I did wish you a birthday wish on your day after you told me to)My closest cousin (geographically) who has become a very close friend and now an employee(Both can change).Rob's family and my family get together regularily for dinner and fun.He is presently taking the business helm and dogsitting while we are on holidays.We have shared many good times ,camped ,amputated some digits together(his),many renovations together (prior to Rob leaving the tip for me (his thumb)and left me to clean up!).Rob , we will have to have a few Appletons when I return in your honor!Cheers!

Hey guys I haven't spent a great deal of time blogging because I've been selling ALL of Kevins possessions while he is Hawaii. Don't tell him its OUR little secret. Personally, I think he'll be surprised.

Robbie dear, you know if I was that close to you, you'd be having us over for dinner! We were in Vegas during the March Break (you know the place where everyone takes their three young kids for a holiday). If we ever get out your way (we hope to one day) you'll know we're coming.

Bochsler Family Update

Last week I tried to "encourage" my family to post to this blog. I sent them all TERRIBLE pictures of themselves and threatened to post them here if they didn't post their own. Although they all responded soon enough to my threat, nobody has updated this blog yet. To be fair, this sort of thing is easier for me to do so I'll give a general update on the family. I won't post those nasty pictures just yet, because I'm sure there are some of me floating around and I don't want to start a war.
