FAMILY HISTORY

All you who hear
Draw near and be heard.

I'm looking for the family historians. Two names have been mentioned to me: Marge Ford and
possibly Maureen P. If you read this Maureen and Marge please comment to the blog. There exists much family history of which few people are aware. Also, some of the information posted to this blog is incorrect - re identification of people in the old photos. Those who in the past discovered information or photos have set those aside for future sharing and this blog is an ideal way to share this history

If you are interested in Ford family history, including of course cousins in the O'Brien branch then how about replying indicating whether you wish to be a "gatherer" and sharer or only a "reaper" (from the Latin 'seize & carry-off').

Happy to you.....Uncle Al

Uncle Al,
Maureen is not on the blog! She finds it hard to navigate. If you email me I can forward it to her. As well, I think I would like to be a reaper, as I really don't have access to a lot of history and don't have the time. But thanks to all of you that are doing the work!
Take Care,
Colleen ( Barry) Vennard

Hi Colleen, nice to hear from you. Do you know if Maureen is gathering info as a special interest or is a reaper??

Aside from that, What's new in your world?

Love uncle Al

Maureen is gathering as a special interest I believe. Life is wonderful in my world. Mike and Lorne are living indepedently in Red Deer (1 1/2 hrs.away). They visit often and I cook all their favorite meals and gourmet meals when they come home. I love to cook for them and they order up their menus ahead of time' same as I did with dad! Brian and Holly live in Camrose as well and we see them often! Wayne and I have been together for going on eleven years and he is a great guy, I love him to bits. We are looking at purchasing a condo in Palm Springs in the next while as prices are reasonable and we both love to golf

Oh yeah! I talked to Maureen last night and she said she is on the blog. Sometimes I don't know what I am talking about!

Bochsler Family Update

Last week I tried to "encourage" my family to post to this blog. I sent them all TERRIBLE pictures of themselves and threatened to post them here if they didn't post their own. Although they all responded soon enough to my threat, nobody has updated this blog yet. To be fair, this sort of thing is easier for me to do so I'll give a general update on the family. I won't post those nasty pictures just yet, because I'm sure there are some of me floating around and I don't want to start a war. You may remember there are 6 kids, in order of age: Mark, Colleen, Paul, David, Kathleen & Kevin. Hearing it listed like that reminds me of being called for dinner. :) Mom and Dad (Maureen and Al) are both in good health and living in that big house you remember in Ancaster. The house and property itself would look very different to many of you as my Dad's projects have really transformed the place. There are no more big willow trees (and no more treehouse!) :( ...
