I don't remember how many people I talked to at the reunion about my surrogacy so for some this is all new information and for some this will ring a bell.
I am a gestational surrogate - I've carried now three times for three different couples.
I was "cycling" when I was in Canada last August for the reunion. My husband and I had just been to Boston for my transfer a week before.
I woke up the morning after the reunion to a beautiful positive home pregnancy test in our hotel room!
So that began my wonderful pregnancy - my due date was May 2nd. We later found out that I was carrying a boy for my couple :) At 36 weeks I had an ultrasound and the baby was already over 8lbs! My OB decided to induce my labor at 38 weeks. The couple flew in from Boston last Saturday night, we attended Mass together Sunday morning and had lunch followed by pedicures with the mom to be while the men/children went pier fishing:)
Tuesday was our big day, after a fairly quick induction the baby was born at 6:25pm. He weighed 9lbs. 13oz. and was 21" long. We were all discharged on Thursday. The new family is doing very well and I'm making a fast recovery...ready to do it again!

We are really looking forward to seeing everyone down there in July
Third surrogate hunh? quite the hobby. Have you ever tried stamps?
Not only has their/your baby been to Canada, but he probably during that time had some POP, or sat on a CHESTERFIELD. He probably wasn't here long enough to come into contact with any KD (Kraft Dinner)(that's what we call Mac and Cheese).
If the baby ever has a craving for smarties, coffee crisp or ketchup chips, you can blame the reunion.
