Golf Tournie

So for those who were unaware, a freind of Kevin Ford's (the old guy not the young buck) was shot about a year ago while servicing a fireplace. Ed was unaware that the condo was a drug dealers and when he went in he was shot, along with Ed was another innocent person who lived across the hall. The owner of the condo some how escaped all harm.
Kevin suggested a memorial tournament to Ed's widow and to Chris' mother (Chris being the young neighbour). It took awhile and a HUGE number of headaches (could drive a soul to drink) but it happened on the 26th of Sept. and raised $20,000 for the victims of crime.
I'm sure Kevin will say something about this eventually and invite everyone out for next years round but right now I think he is just trying to catch up on work. Apparently he needs help, pity the fool who is trying to learn the ropes in a busy season.
Don't tell him he done good because of that whole swollen ego thing making him IMPOSSIBLE to live with. Our secret...ssshhhhh.

Hey Rob,

Thanks for filling us in on the tournament - I was wondering how it went.
Kevin - when you bought me that six million dollar man T-shirt when I was 5 I knew you were a helluva guy. But this is on whole other level. You make the family proud.

Bochsler Family Update

Last week I tried to "encourage" my family to post to this blog. I sent them all TERRIBLE pictures of themselves and threatened to post them here if they didn't post their own. Although they all responded soon enough to my threat, nobody has updated this blog yet. To be fair, this sort of thing is easier for me to do so I'll give a general update on the family. I won't post those nasty pictures just yet, because I'm sure there are some of me floating around and I don't want to start a war. You may remember there are 6 kids, in order of age: Mark, Colleen, Paul, David, Kathleen & Kevin. Hearing it listed like that reminds me of being called for dinner. :) Mom and Dad (Maureen and Al) are both in good health and living in that big house you remember in Ancaster. The house and property itself would look very different to many of you as my Dad's projects have really transformed the place. There are no more big willow trees (and no more treehouse!) :( ...
