I was just thinking that i'm really the worst person in the world to be posting notices about people's birthdays. As a kid I committed 6 to memory: mine, Mom's, Dad's, Rob's, Kathy's, and the baby Jesus' (that birthday, like my own, was worth remembering). So now that i'm practically grown, if I happen to remember a birthday outside of those 6 it's sheer luck. So today it's easy. Because today is my sister Kathy's birthday. Of course everyone knows Kathy, but not everyone may know that she's the heart and soul of the Dean family. Or that she inherited my mother's warm and loving nature, brilliant sense of humour, and penchant for squirreling away recipe clippings from the paper. Kathy - here's to you and your heart, soul, laugh, and recipe collection. Remember: you're in my top 6, somewhere between me and Jesus. Hapy birthday!

Actually thats a lie. Paul Bochsler was kind enough to send me these pictures.The stone for Uncle John was actually purchased by Paul and was designed after Rosalie's head stone.Anyone wanting to contribute to the costs of John's head stone can forward it to Paul.Great job Paul , it look's great!!

Ok ok ok ok ok ok ok. Finally, some pictures of the kids and a quick family update. As some of you may know Adrienne and I separated over a year ago and we're currently in the midst of divorcing. It's been a rough transition but everyone is doing pretty well. Adrienne and I have two kids; Jack who just turned 6 in April, and Colleen who turned 3 last November. They're quite the pair: Colleen loves anything to do with pink, purple, makeup, flowers, dolls, babies, hair, hair clips, hair ribbons, hair bands (not to be mistaken with glammy 80s hard-rock hair bands like White Snake), dresses, skirts, shoes (open toed and closed), shawls, scarves, hats, aprons, and bags of all sorts including tote bags, suit cases, roller boards, hand bags, purses, and clutches. Jack loves anything to do with balls - footballs, basketballs, baseballs, tennis balls, and super balls (though not in the house anymore...too damned unpredictable). And when he's not showcasing his extraordinary coor...

Well as we all know, it was Mark Bochsler's 40th birthday some time ago. But what you might not know is that Sandra had a party and some of his local (and maybe not-so-local) cousins popped in to celebrate. Here's a picture of Dean Ford, Pat Ford, Mark Bochsler, and Pat Dean in Mark and Sandra's kitchen.

Loretta Wood's facebook profile tells me that today is her birthday. I'm not sure how successful our round of happy birthday was for Mark's big day last time, so maybe everyone should just go to Hallmark and send Loretto an e-card. I'd post her email here but nasty web crawlers and spiders like to troll the internet for people's email addresses so those evil spammers have somewhere to send their junk mail. Hi Everyone, Sorry I’ve been negligent and haven’t posted. I’ve spent the last little while catching up on past blogs. Thanks to everyone for posting! Let me start by saying: HAPPY MAY 2-4!!! We don’t really celebrate that in Singapore. Hope you've enjoyed it back home. Next let me Say: HAPPY BIRTHDAY Christopher Forte! Christopher (Colleen’s son) turned 2 this week. They just had a party this past weekend and I heard it was a lot of fun. Finally, Happy Birthday to my little boy Noah!! Noah turned 3 today. Yesterday we had a party at the Jurong Bird Park in Singapore. They have a splash and play area there so it was a lot of fun. We had a picnic in the park for lunch. Hope everyone is doing well!
