Fabulous Ford Family Funday in Fenwick

I had such a great time seeing everyone again. Thanks to Mary and Mark for once again hosting this event that was larger and better than ever. Thanks to Kevin and Fred for the final send off to Uncle John. It was very touching. I think John would have approved. Thanks also to Debbie and Mark for the party afterwards that unfortunately I was only able to be at a little of.
Many discussed the planning of the next one. It was suggested that we hold off a year or two and that maybe it be held at a hotel in Niagara Falls Ontario as there are three that have water parks (indoors) for all. Going into the states cannot work as Canadians over the age of 70 have no way of obtaining out of country health coverage for any pre-existing health problem and unbelievably we have many who are over 70 and many more who are a catching up. Anyway, any suggestions or offers to help would be welcomed.

Yeah lets have it in B.C. or Alberta. We have great big waterparks called LAKES and OCEANS, they don't need roofs. We have REAL mountains not 300 foot hills.
Senior citizens, we got loads of'em and we even have hospitals. The planes DO fly west, if not, go east you can't miss us.
Everyone can stay for FREE in Kevin's tennis court. We'll even put a tarpaulin over the WHOLE thing so no one need find accomodations.
Wait a little longer and we can incorporate a family reunion and the Olympics. I have no idea what we can enter but as long as we don't have to move to fast we should do fine.

Bochsler Family Update

Last week I tried to "encourage" my family to post to this blog. I sent them all TERRIBLE pictures of themselves and threatened to post them here if they didn't post their own. Although they all responded soon enough to my threat, nobody has updated this blog yet. To be fair, this sort of thing is easier for me to do so I'll give a general update on the family. I won't post those nasty pictures just yet, because I'm sure there are some of me floating around and I don't want to start a war. You may remember there are 6 kids, in order of age: Mark, Colleen, Paul, David, Kathleen & Kevin. Hearing it listed like that reminds me of being called for dinner. :) Mom and Dad (Maureen and Al) are both in good health and living in that big house you remember in Ancaster. The house and property itself would look very different to many of you as my Dad's projects have really transformed the place. There are no more big willow trees (and no more treehouse!) :( ...
