Washington area visit

We are thinking of stopping in Washington this summer on our way to Atlanta Ga. We Would love to see some Gallagher relatives and also do the touristy Washington thing. I have no idea of who lives where in relation to DC and who would be interested in housing 4 "Canadians", as Nicki or Kristi told me uncle Bernie always refered to all of us up here. We are thinking of the first week of July for 3 or 4 days. Now dont all respond at once. Please let me know if you "might" be interested.

Dan do you mean no "whining" from we the lotus heads? If you intend to get between us and our "wine" then we must drop you like a lead balloon but if you are pointing out that we tend to go on and on and on and on about things because we are constant complainers, thats fine. Do not even go near our beer.
By the way, enroute to Gallagher central you can stop by our house for a short visit. On our globe we are only six inches (15 cm for post Trudeau kiddies) away form you so thats not far.

Thanks Nikki, i will call your parents after the holidays. I did a whitepages.com search by using the phone number so that i could do a google earth search to see how far it is from the capital. It's 38 minutes in case you needed to know. Nice neighbourhood.

Denise and Joe definitely live the closest to D.C. now. But you are welcome at any of our homes! Denise loves having company, and if you stay at her house, she'll cook us all dinner so we can see you! Can't wait.

Bochsler Family Update

Last week I tried to "encourage" my family to post to this blog. I sent them all TERRIBLE pictures of themselves and threatened to post them here if they didn't post their own. Although they all responded soon enough to my threat, nobody has updated this blog yet. To be fair, this sort of thing is easier for me to do so I'll give a general update on the family. I won't post those nasty pictures just yet, because I'm sure there are some of me floating around and I don't want to start a war. You may remember there are 6 kids, in order of age: Mark, Colleen, Paul, David, Kathleen & Kevin. Hearing it listed like that reminds me of being called for dinner. :) Mom and Dad (Maureen and Al) are both in good health and living in that big house you remember in Ancaster. The house and property itself would look very different to many of you as my Dad's projects have really transformed the place. There are no more big willow trees (and no more treehouse!) :( ...

Some of Paul Bochsler's pictures

I took a million silly pictures, thank goodness some of y'all were taking the same shot and are better photographers, but here are a few from my camera's perspective. Gosh, I'm trying to upload a zillion of them and it only takes four at a time. Bear with me. Note the 'two Jacks', 'Peter, Paul & Mary', and the oldest and youngest of the cousins. Paul

Happy New Year from Singapore!

Hello Everyone, It's been a while since I've posted but I have enjoyed all of the updates that are coming through from all of you. It makes me feel not so far away. This is David, Aunt Maureen's son. We have a new baby, Liam, who was born July 25th (the same birthday as my siblings Kathleen and Kevin). Noah is 5 1/2 and Ella just turned 4. We had a great time this holiday season with my brother Mark and his wife Sandra who came to visit us. We also had Peter Beninger and his family over. These photos are courtesy of my bro Mark, who has a gift for picture taking. Carol's (my wife) parents are here visiting now so it's been a great family month. Enjoy the pictures!
