You can always do a search for a word, like - let's say "can opener" (go to blog home page and in top left corner there is a search box). That will send you to the following URL:

http://fordfamilystories.blogspot.com/search?q=can+opener

Then you can read up all the blog posts for "can opener"

Other than that, on the right hand side there are dates. You click on the arrow beside year and that will drop down a list of weeks. Click on the arrow beside a week and that will drop down all the posts from that week. Then click on the post you are interested in. It's important to click on the arrows and not the year or you'll just get sent to the top of the year. Was that clear as mud?

Don't need no stinking can openers.

Lovely idea you had Davey but how can we look back through 2007 without being tossed to the end oh Guru of blogging?

Like the man said, if you click on the arrow beside 2007 it will drop down all the weeks in 2007. So just go down to the week you are looking for.

Bochsler Family Update

Last week I tried to "encourage" my family to post to this blog. I sent them all TERRIBLE pictures of themselves and threatened to post them here if they didn't post their own. Although they all responded soon enough to my threat, nobody has updated this blog yet. To be fair, this sort of thing is easier for me to do so I'll give a general update on the family. I won't post those nasty pictures just yet, because I'm sure there are some of me floating around and I don't want to start a war. You may remember there are 6 kids, in order of age: Mark, Colleen, Paul, David, Kathleen & Kevin. Hearing it listed like that reminds me of being called for dinner. :) Mom and Dad (Maureen and Al) are both in good health and living in that big house you remember in Ancaster. The house and property itself would look very different to many of you as my Dad's projects have really transformed the place. There are no more big willow trees (and no more treehouse!) :( ...
