Richard John David Barry

David was born July 31, 1953. He was the seventh grandchild. Dave was in Alberta just about two years ago when our brother Sean passed away. It was great to see Dave and spend time with him. Somehow I knew it would be the last time we would see him. I kept in contact with him, he was always happy to chat. Dave's health was fragile and he was in and out of the hospital in the past year. Left to cherish his memory are his wife Stepanie, his five children, his brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles and cousins by the dozens.
At this time we don't have any details about the funeral.
I will try to post some pics of Dave. I haven't posted pics to the blog for awhile. Take Care, love you all.

Colleen I am so sorry to hear of David's passing. I remember David when he was staying with your parents in Burlington. He was so funny and very sweet.

WOW what a shock. When did this happen? Lots of questions that can wait but for now I'm just going to pass on my condolences and remember as a funny gut with a ton of stories.

Thanks for your condolences. It was a shock for sure. This is the same long week-end my dad passed away (May 22). I am glad we got to be together when Sean died. It was the first time we were all together since Glenbrook. Somehow I knew it would be Dave next, I think we all did as he was so frail and frequently suffered bouts of pneumonia. I still don't have any date for the funeral, but I will post it when I do.
Thnks again for all you kind wishes

I am so sorry. I could not imagine losing two of my brothers. I'm praying for his family and siblings. I last saw David when he stayed at our house in Ancaster for a day or two, I think either for Uncle Jack's funeral or around the time of the second reunion. (91 or 92). I remember because we were looking at the Family Cookbook, and he wrote into one of our copies the birth of his son, David Kieran. He was very proud of his page with his wife and children. I really liked David.
We're so sorry to hear about David. He was such a warm, sweet guy. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
