Happy Birthday Kathy and Zack

June 8 2007 - Pat posts a birthday wish for Kathy D right on time. Pat pats himself on his back for a job well done.

367 rotations of the earth later and i'm two days late posting this year's birthday wish. The passage of time is a mystery to me - clearly I'm temporally challenged...

The upside is that i'm on time for Zack's birthday.

So to make up for my tardiness and to make Zack's 16th birthday uber special, I've hired a band to perform the birthday song.

Pat, I may be equally challenged. I thought about Kathy all day on the 8th while at a function for someone else and intended to call her when I got home. I didn't get home until late. I spoke to Kathy the very next day and didn't even mention her birthday...just don't want her to feel too special...yeah, that's it. Nothing wrong with my memory!

Well I did right by Kathy and I was talking to my son about calling Zachary and I remembered to call him again around 7:10 tonight but the whole 3 hour time diff made me hesitate. When we were sixteen Kathy and I had to be in bed by 6:30 p.m. sometimes missing dinner until the following day because we only ate once a day. Kids now days don't got no clue hows good they gots it!!!!!!!!

Happy Birthday Kathy and Zack and to my sister Mary on the 3rd. Do you believe her when she says she is 49?

Bochsler Family Update

Last week I tried to "encourage" my family to post to this blog. I sent them all TERRIBLE pictures of themselves and threatened to post them here if they didn't post their own. Although they all responded soon enough to my threat, nobody has updated this blog yet. To be fair, this sort of thing is easier for me to do so I'll give a general update on the family. I won't post those nasty pictures just yet, because I'm sure there are some of me floating around and I don't want to start a war. You may remember there are 6 kids, in order of age: Mark, Colleen, Paul, David, Kathleen & Kevin. Hearing it listed like that reminds me of being called for dinner. :) Mom and Dad (Maureen and Al) are both in good health and living in that big house you remember in Ancaster. The house and property itself would look very different to many of you as my Dad's projects have really transformed the place. There are no more big willow trees (and no more treehouse!) :( ...
