Michelle Gallagher

Just read on Facebook that Michelle is in surgery as I write this(11:45 a.m.) and that it should take 4 - 5 hours. I asked Nikki to keep us posted here so lets keep Michelle in our prayers.

I am so sorry to hear about the accident. I am wondering what happen to Michelle? Our positive thoughts are with all.

She has rectal cancer that was caught early so her prognosis is supposed to be good. Her sister Nikki posted this information back a while. Sorry, you must have missed it.

Michelle's surgery went great! She was out earlier than they thought and she looked great when we went to visit her tonight! Thank you for all the prayers - keep'em coming...we won't know if chemo/radiation is necessary until the pathology report comes back on her lymph nodes but all previous testing shows that they appear to be clear :)

Jackie's 80th Party pictures

Kevin makes a good point, however Chace was there - make no mistake about it - this kid gets around. We had to pick him up at the airport on Friday. He flew first class with his stroller, luggage and elmo diapers. He took quite a shine to Mark! Just a few pictures from the party this past Saturday...

Bochsler Family Update

Last week I tried to "encourage" my family to post to this blog. I sent them all TERRIBLE pictures of themselves and threatened to post them here if they didn't post their own. Although they all responded soon enough to my threat, nobody has updated this blog yet. To be fair, this sort of thing is easier for me to do so I'll give a general update on the family. I won't post those nasty pictures just yet, because I'm sure there are some of me floating around and I don't want to start a war. You may remember there are 6 kids, in order of age: Mark, Colleen, Paul, David, Kathleen & Kevin. Hearing it listed like that reminds me of being called for dinner. :) Mom and Dad (Maureen and Al) are both in good health and living in that big house you remember in Ancaster. The house and property itself would look very different to many of you as my Dad's projects have really transformed the place. There are no more big willow trees (and no more treehouse!) :( ...
