Hello everone, somewhere I read the rumblings of a Ford reunion this summer. If it is true could you let me know, so I can staet making plans? Thanks that would be of great help. Have a great day!

At Uncle John's memorial service, Brenda and I talked with a few of our cousins about forming a committee to plan a large-scale family reunion. It is far too much work for just a few people - we don't know how our super aunts did it! Hopefully they can pass on their wisdom!! As a first step, we are hoping to get together with some hard-working cousins perhaps in April to brainstorm. Anyone interested in joining the committee? We know that Colleen F., Rosalie, Kathleen and Debbie are. Any ideas? 2008?

That would be nice. I have a 30 year class reunion on May long of 2008 that I plan on attending as well. I don't know how much help I can be in Alberta, but keep me in mind.

Mark and Mary Simmonds do an annual reunion every summer in Fenwick Ontario and I know they plan to do it again this year.I am planning on going to Ontario possibly in Aug. to bring Uncle John's ashes back ,Mary and I talked about doing it then , does that work?

Hey which Kathleen? Is it Kathleen (Kathy Dean) Diletti or is it Kathleen Boschler who grew up as Kathleen and not Kathy. So if you can shed some light on this I would be very happy. I would however be very interested in helping with a family gathering.

We were thinking of a large, full weekend reunion at a resort/hotel,like the two we had 15 and twenty years ago. Is anyone else interested in that sort of get together? As to the Kathleen question, if we do go ahead with a major reunion, it would be lovely to have all Kathleens: be they Deans,Boschlers or any others!!

First of all, I'd love it if we had a big reunion like we did 15 years ago.

2nd - I'd like to help in whatever way I can from Singapore. Techy stuff - perhaps communications out to family, building a database o addresses, e-mails, the modern "ford family cookbook". Tis is something I could sink my teeth into. I know that Pat is a master at creating documents.

3rd - As for this August, there's no way my family can make it since we're going to Switzerland in Oct for Mark and Sandra's wedding. However, there's a slight chance that I will be able to be there depending on dates. I may be in Seattle early August for work. After 20 hours of flying from Singapore, another 5 hours of flying from Seattle would be totally worth it for a weekend with family. Keeping my figers crossed!

I will definitely attend the next reunion. I can help with anything up until May but after that I'm already overextended.
