The Dean 5 of Coquitlam, BC
Rob is enjoying the life of a kept man since the spoon accident that lobbed off 2 digits. Despite his shortcomings, he still manages to take care of his charges.
Tamara is a recent MEd. graduate, teaching grade 2, a Roots of Empathy instructor and designing a new empathy program involving seniors and children.
Caitlin is in grade 3 and hoping for a career in world domination. Until she is crowned, she is enjoying ballet, swimming, Brownies, and reading, and desperately wanting horses.
Kyle is in Kindergarten but is often mistaken for being in grade 3 due to his height. He enjoys biking, swimming, Beavers, and bugging his sister until she screams at him.
Ayden, although only 3 (as of Jan. 30) has already made his mark on his siblings. Fortunately, "time wounds all heels". He too enjoys swimming and keeping up with everything the older kids can do.

I mentioned a spoon because I was bored saying the same old "tablesaw" story. With a spoon people never cut off both a finger and a thumb.
Well it seemed funnier at the time.
Kevin Ford was here when the accident occurred and was gracious enough to drive me to the hospital in his red van (convenient). He did get rather annoyed with me later when he pointed out that I had bled all over a floor, in the house, that he had just finished cleaning drywall dust off... twice.
My wife and family were in Ontario while I stayed behind to do some home reno's (where are all the relatives in construction when you need'em). I was behind schedule and had been trying to get too much done and decided that the only way I was going to get any vacation time was to take drastic measures.
In the hospital I had my own room, bathroom, drugs and there was absolutely no drywall dust anywhere.
Kevin called up some of my friends who spent two days finishing up what I was doing. He said that once I was out of the way, alot more work got done. He ate better too. OUCH
That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
Whenever jokes are made about the accident I just thumb my nose at the culprit. I just use my left thumb now.
